CCRHL Hub (“the app”) is operated by the Capital City Rec Hockey League together with the team behind puckmetrics.io (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app handles and why. We’ve tried to keep it plain.
Who this is for
Information we collect
Account information (email address). You sign in with a passwordless “magic link” sent to your email. We store your email address to identify your account, link you to your player profile, and send the sign-in code. We do not store passwords.
Usage data (analytics). We collect aggregated information about how the app is used — such as which screens are viewed and which features are tapped — to understand what’s working and improve the app. This is processed through PostHog. It is tied to your account identifier but is not sold or used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Diagnostics (crash reports). If the app crashes or errors, we collect technical diagnostic information (device model, OS version, and the error) to fix problems. This is processed through Sentry.
Location. If you use the “find a sub” features, the app may ask for your location to estimate driving time to nearby arenas. This calculation happens on your device. We do not store or transmit your location to our servers.
Push notifications. If you enable notifications, we store a device push token so we can send you game and sub alerts. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

- Turn off notifications anytime in device settings.
- Decline the location permission; the app still works (drive-time estimates simply won’t appear).
- Request account deletion by contacting us.
